One Handheld, Three Ways to Capture Data

A 5.2'' 1920 x 1080 display, a 5000 mAh battery, and a body rated for 1.8 m / 5.9 ft. drops to concrete.

The C71 reads EPC C1 GEN2 tags up to 3m in its UHF configuration, depending on tags and environment. The standard C71 covers barcode and card work with an optional imager and 13.56 MHz NFC; the C71 UHF adds an Impinj E Series engine on a circular polarization antenna; the C71 Fingerprint carries a TCS1, TLK1NC02, or Optical Morpho CBM-E3 sensor. Scan engines come from Zebra and Honeywell, and the cover glass is Corning Gorilla Glass. All three configurations run Android 11 / 13 on one octa-core 2.3GHz platform, with GMS, FOTA, Soti MobiControl, and SafeUEM supported.

Overview

The C71 is a rugged Android handheld for teams that scan stock, read cards, or verify identity through a full shift. A 5.2'' IPS LTPS 1920 x 1080 panel sits behind Corning Gorilla Glass that stays usable with gloves and wet hands, and an octa-core 2.3GHz processor with 3GB + 32GB, or 4GB + 64GB as an option, runs the applications your operation already deploys. The main battery is a 5000 mAh Li-ion pack, rated for over 350 hours of standby and over 12 hours of continuous use depending on user environment.

What sets the C71 apart from a phone in a rugged case is how much of it is settled before it ships. One body accepts a 1D linear scanner or a 2D imager, an Impinj E Series UHF engine, one of three fingerprint sensors, two PSAM slots, and either NFC or HF RFID at 13.56 MHz. A team that needs tag counting in the warehouse and identity checks at the counter can order both from one product family, on one software image, instead of qualifying two devices.

The scan engine choices are Zebra SE4710, SE4750SR, SE4750MR, SE4750DP, Honeywell N6603, N4313, and CM60, and the UHF engine is based on Impinj E Series chips with support for Impinj Gen2X. Android 11 / 13 arrives with GMS, and FOTA, Soti MobiControl, and SafeUEM are supported, so IT can enroll the fleet with the tools it already runs. Why Buy the C71 From CedaGlo

Components You Can Verify

Every engine, chip, and sensor on this page is named: Zebra, Honeywell, Impinj, Corning, Morpho. Look each one up on the site of the company that makes it, and hold us to what the configuration sheet says.

Configured Before It Ships

You pick the scanning engine, the UHF or fingerprint module, and the memory tier at order time, and units arrive built that way. No field retrofits, and no half-populated devices sitting in a stockroom waiting for a part to turn up.

Test One Before You Commit

Ask for a single unit and run your applications on it, on your network, with the tags and cards your sites actually handle. Two weeks of that settles questions a page of numbers never will.

Serviceable for the Long Run

Spare-part supply, warranty terms, and RMA turnaround are confirmed in writing with your order, so procurement gets dates it can put in a contract. Android 11 / 13 and FOTA keep the software on the fleet current.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far will the C71 UHF read a tag?

Up to 3m, and that figure depends on tags and environment. The engine is based on Impinj E Series chips, works across 865-868 MHz, 920-925 MHz, and 902-928 MHz, and its output is adjustable from +5 dBm to +30 dBm, up to 1W, on a circular polarization antenna. It reads EPC C1 GEN2 / ISO18000-6C tags and supports Impinj Gen2X.

Which of the 3 configurations should I order?

Order the standard C71 when the work is barcode picking, receiving, and card reading, since it pairs an optional imager with 13.56 MHz NFC. Order the C71 UHF when your stock carries UHF tags and you count a few items at a time. Order the C71 Fingerprint when you verify people, and pick the TCS1 Capacitive, TLK1NC02, or Optical Morpho CBM-E3 sensor at the same time. All three run Android 11 / 13.

Which components are used inside the C71?

The linear scanner is a Honeywell N4313. The imager options are Zebra SE4710, SE4750SR, SE4750MR, SE4750DP, Honeywell N6603, and CM60. The UHF engine is based on Impinj E Series chips and supports Impinj Gen2X. The touch panel is Corning Gorilla Glass. The fingerprint sensors are TCS1 Capacitive, TLK1NC02, and Optical Morpho CBM-E3. Every one of those names can be checked with the company that makes the part.

How long will a C71 fleet stay in service?

The platform is Android 11 / 13 with GMS, and FOTA, Soti MobiControl, and SafeUEM are supported, so updates and policy pushes go out through tools your IT team already runs. The main battery is a 5000 mAh Li-ion pack rated for over 350 hours of standby and over 12 hours of continuous use, depending on user environment. Spare-part supply and warranty length are confirmed in writing with your order.

How rugged is the C71 body?

The configuration sheet rates it IP65 / IP67 per IEC sealing specifications, with multiple 1.8 m / 5.9 ft. drops to the concrete, at least 20 times, across the operating temperature range, plus 1000 x 0.5 m / 1.64 ft. falls at room temperature. Operating temperature runs 4 degrees Fahrenheit to 122 degrees Fahrenheit, or -20 degrees Celsius to 50 degrees Celsius, and the UHF version is rated to 45 degrees Celsius. Ask us for the test report reference before you write these figures into a tender.

How is the C71 supported after it ships?

Send the serial number and a description of the fault, and we route the unit through RMA. Turnaround targets, warranty terms, and the number of years spare parts stay available are confirmed in writing with your order rather than promised on this page. On the software side, the CedaGlo Software Development Kit covers Java in Eclipse or Android Studio.

The C71 runs Android 11 / 13 on an octa-core 2.3GHz platform, with a 5000 mAh battery and a 5.2'' 1920 x 1080 display. One software image covers all three, so IT qualifies once. Send your tag types, card types, and network details, and we will match the engine and module choices to them.
