Product Overview

CedaGlo RFID cable seal tags are disposable security seals consisting of a robust plastic housing and a stainless steel wire loop. Once the wire is inserted and locked, the seal cannot be reopened without cutting or destroying it, clearly indicating a tampering attempt.

Each tag carries a unique electronic ID that can be read by compatible RFID devices for fast identification, tracking and traceability across the asset lifecycle. The tag surface can also be customized with barcode, QR code, logo, serial number, asset ID or laser marking for combined visual and RFID-based management.

The product is suitable for logistics containers, truck doors, reusable totes, utility meter boxes, roll cages, industrial valve points, network cabinets and other access points where both physical sealing and digital identification are required. No. These RFID cable seal tags are designed as tamper-evident disposable seals. Once the steel wire or plastic strap is locked, it must be cut or destroyed to open the sealed item, providing clear evidence of access.

Which RFID frequencies can be supplied?

CedaGlo can supply LF 125 kHz, HF/NFC 13.56 MHz and UHF 860–960 MHz versions. Dual-frequency configurations can also be discussed depending on chip availability, antenna structure and project requirements.

What is the typical read range of the UHF RFID cable seal tag?

For UHF versions, the typical read range is approximately 0–3 m with a handheld reader and 3–5 m with a fixed reader. Actual performance depends on chip, reader power, antenna, tag orientation, installation position and surrounding materials.

Where should the RFID cable seal tag be installed?
