Product Overview

RFID woven nylon labels and satin ribbon labels are textile-based RFID labels designed to be integrated into garments, uniforms, towels, linens and other fabric products. Unlike ordinary RFID stickers or paper labels, these labels use soft textile face materials and can be sewn into garments, attached as care labels, supplied as roll labels or customized for apparel branding and textile identification.

CedaGlo RFID textile labels can be produced with UHF, HF / NFC or optional dual-frequency RFID inlays depending on application needs. UHF versions are commonly used for apparel inventory, retail item-level tracking, laundry workflows and warehouse visibility. HF / NFC versions can support short-range identification, NFC interaction, product information and brand engagement. Dual-frequency options can combine UHF inventory reading with HF / NFC interaction for special projects.

The label surface can be printed with logo, care instructions, barcode, QR code, serial number, item data or variable information. The back side can contain the RFID inlay, adhesive / stitching / heat-seal structure or backing layer. Packaging can be supplied in roll, fanfold or individual formats based on the buyer's production and dispensing workflow.

Why Buyers Use RFID Textile Labels

Apparel brands, textile manufacturers and uniform operators often need a label that can combine visible product information with digital RFID identification. Traditional care labels provide printed information only, while RFID textile labels add a unique digital identity for each garment or textile item.

With RFID woven nylon labels or satin ribbon labels, buyers can track items through production, packing, shipping, retail inventory, laundry processing, uniform issue and return management. The label can also carry printed barcode, QR code, logo and care label content, making it useful for both manual identification and RFID system integration.

RFID textile labels are especially valuable when buyers need the RFID function to stay with the product rather than being removed like a hangtag. A sew-in or integrated textile label can improve long-term identification for garments, uniforms, towels, linen and other washable textile products.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are RFID woven nylon labels and satin ribbon labels?

They are soft textile RFID labels that combine woven nylon or satin ribbon face materials with an embedded RFID inlay. They can be printed with logo, care label text, barcode or QR code and are used for apparel, uniforms, linen and textile identification. CedaGlo supplies both types with UHF, HF / NFC or optional dual-frequency chip options.

Which frequency should I choose — UHF, HF / NFC or dual-frequency?

Choose UHF (860–960 MHz) for apparel inventory, warehouse visibility and bulk reading workflows. Choose HF / NFC (13.56 MHz) for short-range interaction, authentication or smartphone-based engagement. Choose dual-frequency when one label must support both UHF supply-chain reading and HF / NFC consumer interaction. Final chip selection should be confirmed according to reader system, memory requirement and application environment.

Can RFID textile labels be sewn into garments and washed?

Yes. Labels can be designed for sew-in application on collars, seams, hems, care label positions, uniforms, towels and linen. Washable textile constructions are available, but actual wash performance depends on material, chip, inlay structure, stitching or heat-seal method, washing chemistry and process conditions. Sample testing before bulk production is recommended.

Can you customize size, chip, printing, encoding and packaging?

Yes. Size, shape, folding, logo, barcode, QR code, chip selection, EPC / UID encoding, packaging format and front / back label layout can all be customized according to project requirements. Roll, fanfold and individual packaging options are available. Please contact our sales team with your label size, chip requirement, printing content and quantity to receive a project-based quotation.
