The CG-SW-019 is a silicone RFID slap band: a 280 × 28 mm strip with a spring steel core that curls around the wrist the moment it is tapped against it, and a round chip head at the center. It goes on in a single move, which suits fast queues, children and wearers in gloves, and the head carries an LF, NFC or MIFARE chip, with UHF and dual chips on request. Factory pricing is US$0.40 to 0.95 per piece for 100 to 999 pieces, standard colors are in stock, and 5,000 bands are produced in approximately 7–10 days.

Laid flat it is a straight 280 mm strip. A light tap against the wrist makes the steel core curl, and the band overlaps itself until it holds; pulling one end straightens it again for removal.
Because it wraps rather than buckles, one size adapts to slim and large wrists alike, and the flat strips stack neatly in boxes for storage and handout.

How does an RFID slap band work?
A spring steel strip inside the silicone holds the band straight until it is tapped against the wrist; it then curls and wraps around. The RFID chip sits in the round head at the center.
Does the steel spring affect the chip?
LF, NFC and MIFARE chips read normally because the chip sits in the head, clear of the steel. For UHF, metal nearby shortens the range, so we read-test a sample on your system first.
